August 2025

In August 2025, we held our first Taste of the Garden series, in partnership with the VBGA. Together we raised over $5000. The start of something very special!

April 2026

For our second Taste of the Garden series, we focused on local, sustainable produce and products, embracing the VanDusen Botanical Gardens offerings in Spring.

Menu Creation

The Taste of the Garden menu is created by Chef Pavlo Onopriienko. Originally from Ukraine, he has travelled and worked around the world in incredible kitchens. It's his experience that enriches each and every menu, with the Garden serving as inspiration on every plate.

The Impact

We believe that every child deserves the chance to play and learn at VanDusen. These dinners are our way of making sure that can happen. By donating net proceeds to the VBGA, we have helped over 375 children see the Garden for the very first time.
